Foroige's Got Talent Mayo Heat
Mayo Foróige has a long-standing tradition of empowering youth across County Mayo. With over 60 registered clubs, we have grown to be the largest county for Foróige clubs in Ireland. Although the first Foróige club was formed in Kilkenny, Mayo now has the largest number of affiliated clubs. Our goal is to provide young people with opportunities to develop their skills, engage in their communities, and achieve their full potential.

What We Do
Mayo Foróige offers a variety of programs and activities designed to foster personal development, leadership skills, and community engagement. Our clubs are safe spaces where young people can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.
Our Programs Include:
Youth Leadership: Programs designed to develop leadership skills and promote active citizenship.
Community Projects: Opportunities for young people to get involved in local community projects.
Educational Workshops: Workshops focused on personal development, health, and well-being.
Recreational Activities: A range of activities including sports, arts, and social events.
The Meaning of Foróige
The name Foróige is derived from the Irish phrase forbairt na hóige, which means ‘development of youth’.
