Welcome To Mayo Foróige

There are currently 50 Foróige Clubs in County Mayo which provide activities and recreation for over 900 young people. The key to a successful Foróige Clubs is that young people take ownership by electing their own committee to run the club in co-operation with adult volunteers. Foróige Clubs in Mayo meet regularly to enhance the development of its members through club and interclub events during the year.  Examples of these include quizzes, talent events, disco's and recognition nights. These events give the young people the chance to meet new members, make new friends, exchange ideas in a safe and caring environment and have fun while doing so.

Band On The Strand July 13th 2012

 Band On The Strand is now on its 5th year and has become the main event in the Mayo Foróige calendar and has become bigger and better year after year and this year will be the biggest and best ever with Bressie fresh from his huge success from The Voice Of Ireland with his act winning out in the end, he will be supported by Liquid Coma, Children Of Son and Project37.
